Bumpin’ Uglies New LP Available
Ninjah Reggae Assassin Debuts in iTunes Reggae Chart Top 10
Bumpin’ Uglies, the next breed in rock-reggae, have released their new LP today, with the album currently at #7 on the iTunes Reggae Album Chart. Ninjah Reggae Assasins delivers on the band’s notorious sound and approach, shamelessly dubbed “white boy reggae.” While they apply the term in jest, it only becomes funny when listening to the earnest talent and skill present in their new songs.

Based on early reviews, Ninjah Reggae Assasins is poised to be Bumpin’ Uglies most acclaimed effort to date. The album contains 13 new tracks, taking a dash of reggae, a pinch of rock, a dose each of blues and funk, plus a dusting of Old Bay.
“They have a unique sound, and a lot of that is because of the vocal work, but overall they have an impressive arsenal of genres that they can touch.” -Andrew McClatchy, ThePier.org
The cover art and name intentionally poke fun at the “white boy reggae scene” and those who take it too seriously, in some people’s opinion. The art was created by Skribe at Speakeasy Studios.
